Print

A remote code execution exploit in Internet Explorer 6, 7 and 8 was discovered in December, for which Microsoft has yet to release an official security update addressing the issue.  It is recommended to upgrade to Internet Explorer 9 or 10 immediately.  For Windows XP users who cannot upgrade, either install another browser such as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, or install a temporary Microsoft “Fix It”  solution until a full security update is ready.
