On-Site Computer Repair, Service, Networking and IT Support to Homes and Small Businesses Throughout Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Washington and Walworth Counties.
A number of features have been added to tecs-onsite.com this month which are aimed at enhancing customer contact and support. A request service form has been added allowing you to submit a service request online that will immediately be relayed to a technician via email and cell phone text message. Also, we have added remote support to our service offerings, whereby a technician can remotely access your computer over the internet through a secure desktop sharing system and solve many types of problems. Finally, a live help system has been installed and integrated with the web site, giving you the opportunity to chat live with us and ask any questions you may have about your computer system or network. We hope these new offerings will help you to more conveniently and efficiently receive the effective computer help and support you have come to expect from Ted E’ s Computer Services!
JPEG or JPG for short is an image file format that stands for "Joint Photographic Experts Group", the name of the committee that developed it. It is a very popular file type used by digital cameras and seen throughout the world wide web. JPEG files use what is known as lossy compression, a method of reducing the size of the file while sacrificing some of the quality. While sacrificing image quality sounds like a bad idea, JPEG files can often apply a good amount of compression and reduction of the size of the file while maintaining very good image quality, and in some cases look almost identical to the original to the naked eye. The reduction of file size make JPEG files ideal for posting on websites and sending via email.
